Privacy Policy

LiftTribe ("we," "us," or "the app") is a fitness-consistency app that helps you show up for your workouts — on your own or with a group ("Tribe"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By creating an account or using LiftTribe, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the app:

• Account information — your email address and password. Your password is stored securely (hashed); we never see or store it in plain text.
• Profile information — the display name you choose.
• Workout and activity data — your workout plan (the days and weekly frequency you pick), logged workouts, daily exercises, and the consistency and experience points (XP)/levels derived from them.
• Tribe information — the tribe(s) you create or join, your role in them, and tribe invite codes.
• Technical data — to operate and secure the service, our infrastructure provider automatically logs technical information such as your IP address and request timestamps.

We do not collect your location, health/HealthKit data, contacts, photos, or payment information. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking, and we do not sell your personal data.

Information stored only on your device

Some preferences are stored locally on your device and are never sent to our servers — for example, your workout-reminder on/off setting and time. Workout reminders are delivered as local notifications by your own device; we do not operate a push-notification server.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

• create and secure your account, and sign you in;
• provide the core features — your consistency ring, weekly goal, daily exercise, XP/levels, and tribes;
• show your stats to you and to members of a tribe you join (see "How your information is shared");
• deliver the workout reminders you choose to enable (locally, on your device).

How your information is shared

• Within your tribe. If you join or create a multiplayer tribe, other members of that tribe can see your display name and your consistency, level, and workout totals. In a Solo tribe, no other user sees your data.
• Service provider. We use Supabase to host our database and handle authentication. Your data is stored on Supabase's infrastructure and processed on our behalf. See Supabase's privacy policy at https://supabase.com/privacy.
• We do not sell your personal information or share it with advertisers.
• We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or security of our users or the service.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app: Settings → Delete Account. This removes your profile, workout data, tribe memberships, and login credentials. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. (When you leave a tribe or delete your account, a tribe you created is either removed — if it has no other members — or handed off to another member so the group can continue.)

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Authentication and data storage are handled by Supabase over encrypted connections, and passwords are stored hashed. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your data protected.

Children's privacy

LiftTribe is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to certain processing. You can view and update much of your information in the app, and delete everything via Settings → Delete Account. For any other request, contact us at romanolsendev@gmail.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes may also be communicated within the app.
